A year ago, we were thrilled to announce the Baja-Sonora transboundary region as our third “nest” landscape. The enthusiasm and potential for impact in Baja-Sonora remain extraordinarily high, and we continue to build the partnerships and resources needed to launch the Accelerator there.
At the same time, our team has been hard at work defining our fourth nest: Cascadia.
Together, Baja-Sonora and Cascadia represent the next chapter of Peregrine. We are advancing both landscapes in parallel, with the timing of each Accelerator shaped by the partnerships, participants, and resources that come together around it. Interest from conservation leaders across both regions has been tremendous, reinforcing our conviction that each offers an exceptional opportunity to strengthen relationships, strategies, and investment—and accelerate durable conservation impact across the ecoregion.
